about Christine & Her work

Town Hall Studio is the shop and website of jewelry designer Christine Russell Bruno. The name is taken from the circa 1892 Casco Town Hall, in South Haven, MI, which Christine and her husband, photographer Torry Bruno transformed into their home, studio and store.

Since childhood, she has expressed herself through some kind of art form. Working several decades as a graphic designer, she has held jobs at an art studios, ad agencies, magazines and several newspapers. In 2001 Christine discovered metalsmithing and fell in love with the sculptural element of creating jewelry. Her inspiration comes from her equal love of the clean lines of modern architecture and the amazing detail found in nature.

Marketing her jewelry several ways, beginning with her store, Town Hall Studio, Christine also exhibits her jewelry at various art fairs in Southwest Michigan and Chicago, as well as at LaFontsee Gallery in Grand Rapids, MI.

Town Hall Studio is located at 327 Blue Star Hwy, in South Haven, MI. The store also features photography work by Torry Bruno, as well as his Encaustic (wax) Paintings.

Christine is a member of Blue Coast Artists, and lives next door to two BCA artists, Potter Mark Williams and Painter Suzi Lattner who also have shops.
