about Christine & Her work

Town Hall Studio is the gallery and website of jewelry designer Christine Russell Bruno. The name comes from the circa 1892 Casco Town Hall, in South Haven, MI, which Christine and her husband, photographer Torry Bruno transformed into their home, studio and gallery.

Working as a graphic designer, she has held jobs at an art studio, ad agencies, magazines and several newspapers. In 2001 Christine discovered metalsmithing and fell in love with the sculptural element of creating jewelry. Her inspiration comes from her equal loves of modern architecture and the amazing detail found in nature.

Marketing her jewelry several ways, beginning with her store, Town Hall Studio, Christine also exhibits her jewelry at various art fairs in Southwest Michigan and Chicago, as well as at LaFontsee Gallery in Grand Rapids, MI, and Synchronicity Gallery in Glen Arbor, MI.

If you are interested in purchasing any of her jewelry, send a message, or call. You will find current works for sale, and also past work that she can replicate, in many cases.

Open by appointment year-round (call 312-953-4442) and most weekends from May through October (11am - 5pm, call to be certain we’re open). Town Hall Studio is located at 327 Blue Star Hwy, in South Haven, MI. The store also features photography work by Torry Bruno, as well as his Encaustic (wax) Paintings.

Christine and Torry are located within an artist community, with Blue Star Pottery and Lattner Studios as neighbors.
